Course Title: Cloister, Writing, and Theological Reflection in Theology
Target Audience: This course is designed for graduate students who are committed to deepening their understanding and expertise in their chosen fields of theological study. It is tailored for individuals who are self-motivated, have a strong aptitude for independent research, and are seeking to make a significant contribution to the field of theology.
Purpose-Driven Mission: The primary goal of this course is to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct independent, original research that advances the frontiers of theological thought. Through a sustained period of in-depth study, students will be prepared to address complex theological questions, contribute to ongoing scholarly conversations, and articulate informed and nuanced perspectives that are grounded in a rigorous engagement with primary sources, historical contexts, and contemporary issues.
Signature Special Recipe: The course is structured around a unique "cloister, writing, and theological reflection" model that provides students with the space, time, and resources to immerse themselves in their research topics. Course Description
This course is designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge to conduct rigorous and impactful research across various disciplines. Through a combination of lectures a practical exercises, and independent projects, students will develop the expertise needed to formulate research questions, select appropriate methodologies, gather and analyse data, and communicate findings effectively.
