Purpose (postal anchor): Sustain and steward the Geylang 175 / S(389247) premises as a basecamp of discipleship + enterprise + justice + mission—shared by The Oikos Fellowship and King’s College Seminary, strengthened by the goodwill, prayers, and participation of the wider community (Elijah7000 dads, OATH/ISAC girls, Philippines friends, neighbours, and visitors to GBG / prayer & ministry centre).

Ecosystem thesis: The Kingdom Business Eco-system functions best when governance roles are separated while remaining mutually reinforcing:

  1. Oikos Fellowship (Church / Discipleship): spiritual formation, worship life, pastoral covering.
  2. Oikos Community Enterprises (Social enterprise): income-generating services that underwrite community impact.
  3. Kingdom Connect (Platform): marketplace + directory + referrals that scale relationships, bookings, and trust.

Physical infrastructure (core fixed cost):

Budgeting logic: treat rent and essential utilities as non-negotiable “anchor costs”; fund them first through diversified clean revenue streams plus pledged giving. Then budget programme costs per pillar with clear owners and KPIs.

Revenue strategy (clean streams):

Outcome target (5-year): Oikos becomes a stable, governed ecosystem that (i) disciples and equips people, (ii) launches and supports enterprises, (iii) strengthens migrant dignity and justice pathways, and (iv) exports Kingdom solutions throughout Asia—without exposing the church to unmanaged commercial risk.
