This Church carries the foundational idea that the pen is mightier than the sword, that the power of language and reason (represented by the Greek term "logos") is stronger than the belief in multiple gods and spirits that characterised many ancient religions (referred to here as "paganism") at the time of Jesus and his first disciple in the chaos of first century religious deception. Sardis is an umbrella for the faithful, hidden christians whose organisation genius covers the uncovered and clothes the naked, ensuring a fair distribution of all God’s wealth to the extremities of society including the marginalised that have no voice to speak for themselves.
Sardis, the City of Faith - Divine order is present both in the moral law within us and the stars above. The gift of time and seasons showcases intelligent design. Through this divine order, we are ordained and prepared for greatness. Each community has the potential to bless God and prosper.
The Logon's Excellence - Divine metaphysics and the structure of cosmic geography are based on the Bible's context in terms of the unseen realm and spiritual beings (elohim). These beings are behind evil, sickness, and death. They are God's supernatural agents who plan, organize, and orchestrate every detail of history, current affairs, and the future of humanity. Logon fights a war against pagan practices by eliminating opposition to God's rule.
The Metadidomi's DNA - This figure shapes an organization following the principle of management where Jesus is known and loved. The structure supports the body and fuels and feeds the mission's extremities. Such a person creates value by taking what is available and restructuring it for increased and multiplied impact.
Church Model - "Let everything be done for the building up of the house" (1 Cor 14:26). This phrase is a call for making more room for God to act among his people. Everything spoken or revealed as the body comes together in unity of purpose, expectancy, and faith, expecting a fresh Word from the Father.
Godliness: A Natural Endowment - Godliness is the flagship of the ecclesial community that brings about desired outcomes to address iniquity and rebellion. The beauty of holiness resists and overcomes the holiness of beauty, reestablishing biblical norms and logic.
The Metadidomi Genius - "If I bestow all my goods to feed the poor…" (1 Cor 13). This phrase represents the organizing principle behind the ecclesia, the missional school, women's shelter, etc. It works quietly behind the scenes, arranging time into a heavenly tapestry of colors, sights, and sounds for the benefit of those within and outside the church.
Overcoming the Blindspot of Boaz - The kinsman redeemer who identifies talent and harnesses human capital. Through a godly principle, he redeems what has been overlooked or lost due to neglect or circumstances, benefiting those who glean around the edges of his fields and ask for a piece of his blanket. This represents the genius of the metadidomi, providing shelter and hope for those in need.
The city of Sardis, the fifth of seven churches in the original "City of Faith," is a symbolic representation of the divine order manifest in both the moral law within us and in the cosmos above. This order is perceived through the recurring patterns of time and seasons, an eloquent testimony to intelligent design. This divine order doesn't merely exist; it prepares and ordains us for greatness. It fosters the potential within each community to bless God and prosper.
