Orthodomi refers to the alignment with the Spirit-led reordering of societal norms in all domains where Christ is known and loved. Learning the neck (orthodomi) involves the alignment of all domains and the harmonization of the other six components into a single, harmonious whole.
The backbone, or spinal column, facilitates core functions and maintains the nervous system and other key components of the human anatomy. These include temperature regulation, balance, motor function, and a multitude of effects and controls that allow for freedom of movement and action-reaction. The backbone is also responsible for the involuntary vascular-muscular system that regulates overall growth and bio-genetic stimulation.
By understanding the importance of the spinal column and its role in maintaining the body's core functions, we can appreciate the significance of the synergy of the other components of the body, including the eye, hand, ear, tongue, head, and heart. Taking a holistic approach to learning about the body can lead to a better understanding of how ecclesial functions and how we can quickly adapt and flow to achieve equilibrium, bringing all systems to the obedience of Christ in a miracle of oneness.
The default setting is to make room for God to act in ever-increasing measure, ensuring all players around the table are given free and fair access to the information needed to make timely decisions in bringing forward the fitly framed objectives in a timely manner.
Finally, orthodomi is the seventh goal, which is how God shapes and orders society according to divine favor and design. It involves having a comprehensive understanding of God's plan for humanity and His creation and knowing what to do, when, and in what sequence.
In summary, the seven-fold goals of theology provide a framework for understanding how the image of God is restored in individuals. Each goal is interconnected, and all are necessary for a complete restoration of the image of God. It is only through a proper understanding of these goals and a commitment to living them out that individuals can be fully equipped to "redeem the wastelands" and bring the light of Christ to a dark and broken world.
The seven components of understanding the body are:
Learning the eye
Learning the hand
Learning the ear
Learning the tongue
Learning the neck
Learning the head
Learning the heart
