What empowers you to utilize resources and prophesize? Where did you gain the knowledge and belief to influence change? What inspires you to give to the less fortunate? There are three pillars of authority in the progression of the kingdom. The first is "charismaton," a gift from the Spirit, circulated among local churches. Then, we have the 4-fold ministry gifts - apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor&teacher - designated for service within the body of Christ. Lastly, we have our innate abilities which pave the way for divine intervention. These gifts are referenced in 1 Cor 12:4-6, a simple yet profound structure that illustrates the omnipresence of the divine. The harmony between the variety of gifts, the expressed glory, and the source of these blessings from the Godhead is underscored. The change you effect is foretold by the Bible, long before modern methods of personality analysis. These gifts serve the purpose of progressing His kingdom, a secret held within the tabernacle of Moses and revealed in the era of Jesus. Authority without wisdom is ineffective, while authority is bolstered by silence. Legitimacy is enhanced by voice, predictability, and fairness. Even those who may seem insignificant have the potential to lead if they possess what the powerful lack.
