1. Introduction

This proposal is for the institutional accreditation by the International Council for Higher Education (ICHE) network based in Zurich. The accreditation is sought for a theological college based in Singapore, established with the intent of helping gifted individuals discover genius by modalities.

What do you believe is the mission (main purpose) of the institution?

Our mission is to nurture and assist gifted individuals on their journey of discovery. By utilising a variety of methodologies and approaches, we strive to create an environment that fosters their inherent genius. Our goal is to help them unlock their full potential and truly grasp the extent of their unique innate abilities.

(0.) Modalities of Life

We help gifted individuals discover genius by modalities

What do you think graduates of the institution are being trained for?

In our role as Elijah-like fathers and mothers, it's crucial that we use non-levitical strategies, employing future state technologies to help us. By doing so, we can seamlessly and effortlessly pass our wisdom and knowledge onto the next generation, our Elisha-like sons and daughters. This transfer of knowledge is not just about traditional learning, but it's also about instilling values and life skills that they can carry forward into their future. The use of modern technologies would enable us to do this in a more efficient and effective manner, ensuring that our legacy is preserved and continues to thrive in the generations to come.

(3.) What are the main strengths of the institution?

Our institution operates much like a flight school, where theoretical instruction and hands-on experience go hand-in-hand. Just as flight students must not only learn the mechanics of flight but also log actual flying hours under varying situations, our students are taught traditional methods but also encouraged to stretch the limits of their knowledge to solve emerging problems. This blend of theory and practical application is designed to foster a deep understanding and an ability to adapt to changing circumstances, thereby navigating their journey in the most elegant fashion possible.

(4.) What are the main challenges of obstacles the institution is facing?

We are witnessing an encroachment in the media, education, and cultural sectors by certain worldviews that aim to dehumanise the innate genius within us. These worldviews, often subtly propagated, attempt to diminish the opportunities for leaders to reach their absolute potential within their lifetime. They create an atmosphere that underestimates the power of human intellect and creativity. By doing so, they limit the growth and development of individuals who have the potential to make significant contributions to society. It is of utmost importance that we recognise and address this issue, to ensure that our leaders, and indeed all individuals, are given the chance to fully realise their potential.

INTRO - "We often focus on resolving single, isolated problems, but it is vital to comprehend and appreciate the larger, more comprehensive picture to equip us and others with the necessary tools to navigate these multifaceted challenges effectively" - Paul Khoo

WHO - We help gifted individuals discover genius by modalities. By applying these techniques, we aim to foster an environment where gifted individuals can fully explore and develop their potential, leading to significant advancements in their chosen fields.

WHAT - Established in 1992 as Oikos, Singapore this ROS/COC legal entity was founded to "raise shepherds not sheep" and nurture leaders for the unique "church-in-flats" experience. It focused on experiencing and spreading God’s love within households (“oikos” units). Through various initiatives, we addressed eco-soc issues within the frame work of contemporary forms of slavery, setting up strategies for returnee domestic workers and trafficked victims in the red-light district.

WHEN - The shift from anti-vice to pro-family occurred with stricter laws reducing trafficking and increasing focus on laws against human smuggling for sex work. Today, pastoral theology uses impact-based methods to efficiently identify gifted individuals in a post-pandemic reality, both in-person and on Zoom.

WHERE - Serving leadership happens when local churches embrace a plurality of leadership components described in the pattern of fours both in nature (lion, ox, eagle, man) and in Scripture particularly Ephesians 4:11 that decodes the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic in the context of pastoral-theology where every home is a school and every church a seminary.

WHY - After Chancellor Bishop Mike retired from his CLS work, his international efforts in Asia continue under DAVT / OATH, a Manila-registered entity today led by Rev Tess Wieteska in Cairns who coordinates the non-levitical ordination of candidates, a vision explored with scores of gifted individuals, including many from our Seminary's modality research cohorts.

HOW - An off-grid seminary examined under ATA rules (tbc) and proposed for accreditation with ICHE in Zurich. The name King's College not only reflects the passing of an era but also represents the aim of pastoral theology to serve the local church in various time zones across the Indo & Asia-Pacific rim nations where our associates are active.

3. Accreditation Rationale

This recognition would be a testament to the college's adherence to high standards of theological education and its commitment to fostering an environment of academic excellence. Furthermore, ICHE accreditation would facilitate the exchange of ideas and resources with other leading theological institutions worldwide, enhancing the college's ability to fulfil its mission.

At the Seminary, we unlock each individual's potential through self-directed learning and advanced technologies like A.I. We provide tailored guidance and tools, fostering an environment for exploiting capabilities. We believe in collective efforts, shared experiences, and common values. Our mission is not just to fix educational disparities, but to build an efficient learning environment that addresses root issues and nurtures lifelong learners.

Every soul is ordained for greatness and every community can bless God and flourish. This belief is at the core of our educational philosophy. We see the potential for greatness in every individual, and we are committed to nurturing this potential. We believe that by empowering individuals to achieve their full potential, we can create a ripple effect that will lead to the flourishing of the entire community. Therefore, our educational approach is not just about imparting knowledge, but about transforming lives and communities.
