What are the key areas of expertise you have developed over time? How did these areas come to be your specialisation and how do they inform your current research interests?"

I'm sorry I seldom open my email. Just got so many tasks to do. May I hurriedly answer your question, I dont know for what purpose. By the way, by academia you mean the fields of discipline we earned in formal institutions (like universities), or the academic community whereby we continue to learn like the KC ? or a combination of all these that affect our interests what more to learn or to do? I think I would opt for the third description of "academia."
[The distinction between academics and discipline, and schooling and education is important to avoid confusion. Experience is as important as formal instruction, and good grades don't necessarily mean mastery. Higher education doesn't always translate to practical knowledge or wisdom. Education is not limited to formal institutions, and true wisdom comes from a combination of knowledge and real-life experience.]
In my undergraduate pastoral training, what stands out is mission and evangelism. I think meeting and dealing with people on purpose was enhanced by my awareness of some skills I learned in counselling (my post-graduate studies Master in Science in Guidance and Counselling). I think fast and sometimes make me very straightforward but my awareness of the need to listen tones it down plus my experiences of failures and blunders sometimes. KC had deepen my skills and spirituality too being exposed to many resources and creative thinking and tools, and also acquaintances from other cultures. It had widened my perspective and fellowship with community of believers. Involvement in KC also offered me wider opportunities for service altho it had so much compressed time for me. Describing me as an Eleeos by modality also affirmed my tendency to respond immediately to crisis situation. Trainings and experiences combined, led my missional work at present in the form of community development. My entry-point in the depressed community was family gatekeeping but was I believe, ineffective, the families concerned being very much economically deprived. So I ventured organising them to form a livelihood association to embark on an entrepreneurial project called the Family Gatekeepers Enterprise.
