Introducing BlueZonePlus Communities

An extensive study in the USA found that humans are most productive between 60-70 years of age, followed by ages 70-80 as the second most productive period, and ages 50-60 as the third. This productivity pattern is reflected in various leadership positions: Nobel Prize winners average 62 years old, prominent company presidents average 63 years, pastors of the 100 largest US churches average 71 years, and Popes average 76 years. These statistics suggest that our most effective years lie between 60 and 80.

A study published in the NEW ENGLAND JOURNAL OF MEDICINE revealed that people reach their peak potential at age 60, maintaining this level into their 80s. This indicates that the ages of 60-70 and 70-80 represent the first and second-best phases of life. SOURCE: N.Engl.J.Med. 70,389 (2018)
