1) Executive summary

Tropix Blue is undertaking a small but strategic A&A project at the Thai An campus: constructing a natural-material pavilion between the stairs and the pond, replacing an existing metal trellis and clearing a small number of trees where needed.

The new pavilion will create a multi-purpose sheltered area for community life, training, prayer, and hospitality, with a simple kitchenette to support day-to-day campus operations and visiting teams.

2) C-BAM framing (why this matters)

This project is presented in a C-BAM frame — Community / Compassion / Contextual Business-As-Mission — where physical space is treated as mission infrastructure that enables:

• Community formation (a place to gather, teach, and debrief)
• Compassion and care (a shaded, safe, dignified space for people under pressure)
• Contextual sustainability (appropriate materials, local craftsmanship, low ongoing cost)
• Prayer and spiritual covering (a hub for intercession and pastoral care)

The pavilion is not merely a building feature; it is a platform for hospitality, discipleship, and neighbourhood wholeness.

3) Project scope (what is being built)

Core deliverable

• A tiled-roof wooden pavilion constructed with natural materials (where feasible and wise for climate and maintenance).

Site works (as announced)

• The pavilion will be built between the stairs and the pond.
• The existing metal trellis will be removed.
• Some trees will be removed as required for the new footprint and safe construction.
