One of our ministers ordained under the DAVT umbrella has enunciated this prophetic default as follows: “A corporate collateral alignment is a covenant relationship or partnership within the body of Christ to advance each other’s ministry work.” In GBG, the DAVT ordination provides an invitation and opportunity for such an alignment. In Judges 1:3, Judah said to Simeon, “Come up with me to my allotted territory, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I will likewise go with you to your allotted territory.” It is not a one-sided agreement, but both parties agreed to lend a helping hand to fight for the manifestation of each other’s prophetic promise and inheritance. Each has an allotted territory, a sphere of impact and influence. The collateral was the promise of fighting each other’s war (overcoming resistance and difficulties in each other’s work): a strategy for advancement and warfare to cripple and neutralise each other’s enemies to the point of irrelevance and helplessness. (cf. “Should your fellow Israelites go to war while you sit here?” Num 32). The right alignment releases victory of tremendous geographical proportion. Two nations were conquered and subdued! An evil king fell from the strength of two tribal aligning warriors! Their collateral agreement helped them to achieve more than they could have done so alone.”
