Principles for Effective Prompt Generation
- Clearly Define Your Goals: Understand the purpose of your prompt and the type of response you need. This helps in crafting precise and relevant prompts.
- Be Specific: Vague prompts lead to vague responses. Include specific details and context to guide the AI towards the desired outcome.
- Use Examples: Providing examples within your prompts can help the AI understand the format and type of response you’re looking for.
- Experiment with Different Prompts: Test various prompts to see which ones yield the best results. Adjust and refine them based on the responses you get.
- Leverage AI Features: Utilize advanced features and settings in Notion’s AI tools to enhance prompt effectiveness and tailor responses to your needs.
- Iterate and Improve: Regularly review the responses generated by your prompts and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and relevance.
Your prompts must be very specific. For example,
“Explain the concept of the 7 modalities paradigm as taught by King’s College Singapore and elaborate on the 7 seeds modalities of Deut 8:8 and its significance for me.”
“Create a chart of the 7 churches paradigm in Revelation 2 and 3 with short descriptions for each church and links for further study.”
“Connectthe gift of the Eye with the symbiosis between the Fig and wasp and explain how this links to the church at Ephesus in Revelation chapter 2.”
After you get responses, please send them in a document to me. I am training the AI on Notion to write in my own voice. I have enabled Notion to share my work with others and I'd like to know if you can access what I am writing at my desk in Singapore.
