Every vision takes flight as a venture into new domains. The OIKOS Global Expeditionary Award recognises young leaders in classical and emergent fields that are invested in an innovative movement to impact the generations. Like explorers of old, forging paths through unconventional and uncharted terrain requires both vision and verve. We celebrate the inspiration, journey and beauty of sons and daughters uniting and embarking on the restorative call to be light in the world.

GEA Benefits could be:
(1.) 30 days stay in Singapore per year to train, upgrade, gear up, network, strengthen, perform or plan next lap in the adventure
(2.) Affirmation, blessing & connection (esp w fathers / mothers) in their field of operation as a powerful encouragement to help link up the generational frontlines.
(3.) A strategic Singapore base worthy of continued home church support - I would foresee students of this course being computer literate, mobile and fast-track learners that may have a desire to close ranks. The option is open for partners to add King’s College to their list of professional bodies in the service of Christ.
(4.) A broadening network of relationships with a stream of guest missionaries and leadership mentors. Given the strategic location of Singapore in the Indo-Pacific region, its stature as an up and coming center of theology, Christian history and the Arts, this network would allow for a continual stream of the best and brightest to be released in making, moulding and mobilizing for the 21st century harvest.
(5.) An overview of city-wide church growth developments with specific field insights. In order to establish worshipping communities in a mission-sensitive environment, our students must be exposed to a variety of traditional and non-conventional models of church growth, mastering the fundamentals that are applicable in every pastoral situation where Christ is the Head.
It’s open to the public so you can carefully invite selected adventurers, nerds, competitors in any field, anyone you think worthy of recognition in some particular field of Kingdom advance.
