A structured approach to choosing a thesis topic involves three key impact areas to ensure your work is targeted, goal-oriented, and methodical.

First, identify your target audience using "I help..." - define who will benefit from your thesis, whether it's a specific age group, industry, or community. Being specific helps focus your research and writing style.

Second, establish your purpose with "to..." - determine whether you aim to educate, inform, persuade, or contribute to existing knowledge. A clear goal keeps your research focused and impactful.

Third, define your signature method using "by..." - specify your unique approach or methodology, whether it's a research technique, analytical approach, or theoretical framework. Choose a method that aligns with your strengths and suits your topic.
