“We created this channel to be a place of encouragement and connection for the community of men and women who are committed to Serving Leadership. In 2003, in Pittsburgh, several friends gathered around the proposition of convening and encouraging a community of Serving Leaders who could embolden and help equip one another for truly meaningful work in the world. That early circle included Bruce Bickel, Carter Bierly, Donna Brighton, Doug Duffy, Dave Frengel, Darrin Grove, Cindy Scott, Rich Snebold, Rick Wellock, and myself -- and rapidly expanded to hundreds and then thousands of leaders in the U.S., Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and Europe.
