Dear Provost Kathleen Reid Martinez,
We propose an innovative summer mission program for Oral Roberts University students, leveraging our global alumni network and cutting-edge learning methodologies. This initiative aims to conduct 100-hour accelerators across multiple time and talent zones in 5G cities where our former students currently reside.
Program Overview:
- Duration: 100 hours per accelerator
- Location: 5G cities worldwide with ORU alumni presence
- Participants: Current ORU students and local participants
- Framework: Self-organised learning environments (SOLE) with challenge-based agility
Key Objectives:
- Empower students to discover their unique genius through biblical modalities
- Foster self-mastery in Christ through the lens of biblical archetypes
- Develop challenge-based agility skills for real-world problem-solving
- Strengthen global connections between current students and alumni
- Document and achieve goals aligned with ORU's meta-narrative of student enrichment
Implementation Strategy:
- Alumni Engagement: Identify and partner with ORU alumni in 5G cities for local support and mentorship
- Curriculum Design: Develop a flexible, modality-based curriculum that adapts to various cultural contexts
