Q1. After India gained her independence from Great Britain, I reflected on my journey in academia. My key areas of expertise that I have developed over time include nonviolent resistance, civil disobedience, and peaceful protest. These areas became my specialisation through my experiences in South Africa, where I was exposed to the injustices of apartheid. My current research interests are focused on using nonviolent means to bring about social and political change, as I believe that violence only begets more violence.

Q2. I believe that the key to solving problems in any field is to approach them with compassion and a deep understanding of the human condition. In my own journey, I have developed a passion for social justice and equality, and I believe that my expertise in nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience can contribute to the solution of many challenges facing our world today. By embracing empathy, understanding, and a commitment to justice, we can create a world that is more peaceful, just, and equitable for all people.
