Q1. My journey in academia has been a long and winding road, filled with years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Over time, I have developed a deep expertise in the field of literature, particularly in the areas of religion and spirituality.

In my work, I strive to bring together the best of both Eastern and Western traditions, and to create a vision of spirituality that is inclusive, compassionate, and transformative. Through my research, I hope to inspire others to explore these themes, and to find meaning and purpose in their own lives.

My specialisation in this field came about as a result of my personal experiences and interests. As a Japanese Catholic, I have always been fascinated by the intersection of Eastern and Western religious traditions, and how they can be used to illuminate one another. This fascination led me to study literature, where I could explore these themes in depth.

Today, my research interests are informed by this expertise and specialisation. I am particularly interested in exploring the ways in which literature can be used to deepen our understanding of spirituality, and how it can be used to bridge cultural divides and promote understanding between different religious traditions.

Q2. As a writer, my field is literature, and the problems I am most passionate about solving are those related to the human condition, particularly the complexities of faith and doubt. I am deeply interested in exploring the struggles and contradictions of religious belief, and how it intersects with the realities of the world we live in. My expertise in this area allows me to contribute to the solution by creating works that offer an honest and nuanced exploration of these issues, and by engaging in conversations with others who are also grappling with these questions.
