Introduction to non-levitical ordination of the mission church order

Embracing the Sacred Call of Non-Levitical Ordination In the context of the Bishop's charge, let us grasp the true essence of ordination – not a mere coronation, but a profound recognition of one's unwavering commitment to serving others. Just as there are no unbaptized believers, so should there be no unordained ministers. Immerse your soul in the richness of this sacred act, a divine undertaking interwoven with tradition and biblical precedent. It stands as a visible and tangible manifestation of God's favor, a radiant affirmation of what many already know to be true about the devoted servants among us. Apostle Paul, a beacon of love and wisdom, exemplified the significance of acknowledging those who serve with excellence, not for their own sake, but to ensure their deserving honor and impact on others. Beyond worldly titles and positions, God's accreditation system looks deep into the very core of your being, your character, your heart. It transcends the limits of human judgment, acknowledging the uniqueness of each soul. Every community has the divine potential to thrive and bless God in its own extraordinary way. The leadership ministry becomes a sacred channel, extending this appreciation beyond the walls of the church, honoring those who have attained autonomy, mastery, and purpose in their well-lived lives. In this grand tapestry of life, your identity crafted by God takes precedence over your achievements or accolades. Regardless of the battles you have fought or the victories you have won, it is the essence of who you are that holds the utmost importance. Your Creator endowed you with distinct talents and gifts, each a reflection of divine artistry, awaiting to be celebrated and cherished. So, let us wholeheartedly embrace the magnificence of ordination, for it celebrates the front end of divine favor and acknowledges the dignity of serving in the marketplace of life. Let every man and woman who dedicates themselves to service be acknowledged and recognized, not just at the gates of the church, but in the hearts and minds of all. For within recognition lies a potent force, a catalyst that ignites the flames of unwavering dedication and inspires continued excellence. In this journey of sacred service, let us carve a path where gratitude and honor flow freely, where efforts are validated, and motivation knows no bounds. As we recognize the contributions of one another, we cultivate an environment of profound appreciation and unwavering respect for the diverse tapestry of unique souls making their indelible mark upon the world.

Often, non-church roles play a key part in Christian service. These roles provide important support like spiritual advice, comfort, understanding, and prayer - actions that many people find very meaningful.

This shows that we need to help people better understand and appreciate the work these roles do, especially outside traditional settings.

By sharing their efforts with a wider audience, beyond the church, we can help more people understand and love Jesus beyond traditional church spaces.

Embracing the Sacred Call of Non-Levitical Ordination

In response to the Bishop's Charge, we need to understand what ordination really means. It's not just a ceremony, but a deep acknowledgment of a person's dedication to help others. In the same way that all believers are baptized, all ministers should be ordained.

Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry” (2 Tim 4:1ff)

Join in this special act, a meaningful tradition rooted in the Bible. It shows God's approval in a clear way, confirming what many believe about those who serve faithfully. Apostle Paul, known for his love and wisdom, showed the importance of recognising those who serve well. This isn't just for their benefit, but to show their value and effect on others.

God's approval isn't about titles or roles. It's about who you are, your character, your heart. It goes beyond human understanding, recognising each person's uniqueness. Every group has the special ability to flourish and honor God in its own way. Church leadership helps share this recognition beyond the church, celebrating those who have gained independence, skills, and meaning in their lives.

In life, who you are matters more than what you've done. No matter what challenges you've faced or what you've achieved, it's your unique qualities that really count. God gave you special talents and gifts. Each one shows His creativity and is something to be celebrated and treasured. Every soul is ordained for greatness and every community can bless God and flourish.

Let's fully appreciate the greatness of dedication, as it symbolises the start of a blessing and honors the value of serving in life. Everyone who commits to service should be appreciated, not only in places of worship, but also in everyone's hearts and minds. Recognition is powerful, it fuels commitment and encourages ongoing excellence.

In our journey, let's create an environment where gratitude and appreciation are abundant, where hard work is rewarded, and motivation thrives. By acknowledging each other's contributions, we build a respectful and appreciative community of diverse individuals making their mark on the world.

Getting ordained at DAVT requires significant achievements, leadership, lifetime commitment, global recognition, and the ability to inspire others.

Candidates are assessed on their overall contributions to their field or society, with a governing body making the evaluation in consultation with the Chairman of the Ordaining committee.
