In the Bible, Jesus conveys a profound message, "It wasn't you who chose me, but rather, I chose you. Not only did I choose you, but I also ordained you with a purpose - to go out and bear fruit, fruit that would endure" (John 15:16). This message illustrates the progression of spiritual growth of an individual. In the beginning, one is like a baby, only capable of consuming the milk of the Word, the simple and basic truths.
As time progresses, and with the nourishment of the Word, one grows into a young man and eventually a father in terms of spiritual maturity. This growth is akin to transitioning from milk to strong meat, ready to take on the more complex teachings and deep truths.
Interestingly, as you grow and serve, what makes you unique, something you may not even be aware of, starts to become more noticeable. Your special gifts and abilities become more evident in your service to the King, enhancing your ability to contribute more effectively to His work.
By this point in your spiritual journey, you should have advanced enough in your understanding and experience to be able to teach these truths to others. And if it is within God's will, you indeed will be able to teach. This is the journey that Jesus has chosen for you, a journey of growth, discovery and service, with the ultimate goal of bearing lasting fruit.
