Regarding ordination—particularly non-Levitical ordination—you may see it as a title "Rev" that belongs to your estate before God and his angels. It's based on your life and testimony, which is the continuing work of Jesus on earth through the story God is telling in the particulars of your call and mandate.

It's like owning a piece of land that's been given as an inheritance, say by a distant relative who wishes to release a property with its titles, keys, and privileges to the immediate next and subsequent generation. There is a legally binding documentation process that puts everything into black and white, notarised by a court official and witness in a simple ceremony before a judge.

For example, Oikos owns several pieces of land in other countries because we make it our policy not to buy land but rather to receive titles—that is, "deeds of donation" notarized and signed by all the family members and leaders in a particular community. This is where the church meets and where the pastor and wife raise their family and conduct Bible study, evangelism, worship projects, etc.

Once the church is established—say over 10 to 20 years—those title deeds are handed back to the faithful pastoral couple for them to safeguard for the next generation.

Likewise, the "Rev" title you will be receiving is to be kept for the remainder of your generation to be passed on, even as Elijah threw his mantle on Elisha at the end of his ministerial journey. It is a spiritual endowment passed from one generation to the next, a sacred commission "to experience God's love and pass it on."
