The 100-Hour Accelerator Challenge is a dynamic, hands-on program designed to provide seminary students with real-world business experience. Over the course of roughly four days, participants will undergo a whirlwind of learning, brainstorming, and implementing, all centered around creating a viable business model for "Coffee Meets Clay."
Participants will be introduced to the "Coffee Meets Clay" business concept and the "Genius Match" model. They will undergo workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas to enhance the business model, focusing on unique selling proposition, services, target audience, and business goals.
The next phase involves developing a detailed marketing plan, identifying potential partnerships, creating a financial plan, and establishing a launch timeline. Participants will work in teams, using agile methodologies to plan, prioritize, and iterate their strategies.
Teams will conduct a comprehensive competitive analysis to understand the marketplace and prepare a risk assessment to identify potential challenges. This stage will also involve devising contingency plans to address identified risks.
Teams will prepare for the implementation of their strategies by training in their defined roles. They'll also refine their service offerings based on insights gained from the competitive analysis and risk assessment.
The final stage will involve each team presenting their business model and strategies to a panel of faculty and industry experts. The panel will provide feedback and select the most viable business model, which will then be implemented as part of the "Coffee Meets Clay" project.
This 100-hour accelerator challenge provides an intensive, practical learning experience, fostering entrepreneurial skills, teamwork, and innovative thinking among King's College Seminary students.
