Student loan debt is a global issue, especially where higher education is costly. Students often borrow for tuition, housing, and other expenses. These loans can accumulate significant interest, making them hard to repay even years after entering the workforce. This debt affects financial stability, economic mobility, consumer spending, and home ownership rates.Re-engineering college tuition could help solve the student loan debt crisis. This could mean income-based repayment plans, reducing degree costs, increasing government funding, or even free public education. The aim is to make higher education more accessible and affordable, reducing student loan reliance. Innovations like online learning and new teaching methods could change traditional views on education costs and delivery.
Beginning this March 2023 in collaboration with practitioners from various fields, we will devote 100 hours to revamp the traditional framework of theological education. We aim to introduce an innovative approach to higher education, beginning specifically with a Masters of Arts program at an off-grid seminary during which participants will assist in building the necessary infrastructure for the program's accreditation.
Our aim is to make the traditional theological college more relevant for the 21st century, potentially reimagining the cost structure and lessening the student loan debt burden. The program also encompasses an updated course numbering system and an accreditation process review, all within a self-organised, AI-enabled learning environment.
The expected cost for each hour of the C-BAM program is $60 SGD. This cost covers the hiring of professionals, acquisition of expert knowledge, and rental of facilities at our West Lake extension campus in central Hanoi. Additionally, the price includes the creation and evaluation of the program to ensure its effectiveness. We believe the skills and knowledge acquired by the students justify the expense.
For a 100-hour study period, the total cost amounts to $60 dollars per academic hour. This cost, however, does not include additional expenses such as tech equipment, vehicle rentals, or software expertise. The $60 SGD fee encompasses training, meals, accommodation, training rooms, Internet access, and faculty consultation if required.
Upon arrival, we schedule daily meetings to monitor your progress towards your objectives. Our aim is to provide an innovative approach to higher education, blending traditional theological teaching with 21st-century relevance. By doing so, we hope to restructure the cost of tertiary education, thereby mitigating the student loan debt crisis.
